A photographic documentation of family life as it unfolds — across generations, in presence, in time spent together.

Family Gatherings
These sessions are not about posing or creating overly constructed images. They are, first of all, about time spent together.
They can take place during simple moments: a family lunch, a birthday, a weekend when everyone gathers, a celebration, or simply a day when several generations are together.
I document a family as it naturally exists — across generations, in movement, in conversations, in those small moments that often go unnoticed.
Children play, adults talk, people come and go. Nothing is staged, and very little is directed.
My role is to observe and to be present, allowing the images to emerge from what is already there.
What you receive is not a collection of portraits, but a visual memory of your family — as it was felt, not only as it was seen.
Often, these moments pass without being kept — even though they are the ones we would most want to return to later.
Discretion and respect for privacy are an essential part of my work. The images remain entirely private unless you decide otherwise.
How the session unfolds
Before the gathering, we briefly discuss the structure of the day, the location, and the people who will be present.
On the day itself, I arrive quietly and begin by observing. I do not interrupt the natural flow. I follow the rhythm of the family — conversations, movements, moments of pause.
I may, at times, suggest a quiet group portrait.
Session details
Seasonal family gatherings are typically photographed over 2 to 4 hours.
The session is priced at 850€ and includes photographic coverage and a curated selection of 100+ edited images
I am based in France and travel regularly across Europe, so distance is never a constraint.

What interests me in these gatherings is not only the idea of family, but the relationships that exist within it.
When several generations are together, something becomes visible, who moves closer, who stays at a distance, where there is ease, where there is tension.
These things are often subtle, almost invisible, but they shape the atmosphere of a family.
I am interested in observing this quietly, without changing it.
To see how people are together, in their own way, at a given moment in time.
