The Shape of Uncertainty

The Shape of Uncertainty

The Shape of Uncertainty explores how perception functions in a world where clarity is increasingly difficult to attain. Surrounded by a continuous flow of images, information and competing narratives, we are asked to navigate realities that are often unstable, fragmented or impossible to verify.

Rather than addressing these conditions directly, the project approaches them through landscape and natural forms. Horizons dissolve into mist, reflections distort what they mirror, water conceals depth, and roots search for ground that remains unseen. These images are not illustrations of uncertainty but attempts to observe its presence in the visible world.

The project considers uncertainty not as a temporary lack of knowledge but as a defining condition of contemporary experience. It inhabits the space between recognition and ambiguity, where perception continues to search for meaning even when stable points of reference can no longer be fully trusted.
